You pick a location, we watch the weather there. When rain shows up (completely on its own, as rain does), we send your recipient a notification saying you sent them this rain. It's meteorology meets gift-giving meets a joke that somehow costs money.
No. We want to be extremely clear about this. We have no weather machines, cloud-seeding capabilities, or pacts with rain deities. The rain happens because of atmospheric conditions. We just watch it very carefully and claim credit on your behalf.
Then you've made a very patient gift. Your order stays active indefinitely. We keep checking. Eventually, statistically, water will fall from the sky. In places like Belgium, this usually takes about 3-4 days. In the Atacama Desert... maybe don't.

We can monitor weather anywhere on Earth. However, if you're sending rain to the Sahara, you might be waiting a while. We recommend locations where precipitation is not a myth.
